| Description: The silk rug features a pale blue Mihrab(arch)containing elegant curving Islimis(arabesques)and foliate forms, palmettes and flowers. A chained lamp hangs in the centre of the Mihrab.Columns either side of the Mihrab also enclose hanging lamps. The top ivory corner spandrels encase green palmettes of Boteh motifs. An orange major floral meander border encases the field and is in turn flanked by minor floral meander borders |
